ٱلْحَمْدُ(All) the praises and thanksلِلَّهِ(be) to Allahٱلَّذِىthe One Whoخَلَقَcreatedٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِthe heavensوَٱلْأَرْضَand the earthوَجَعَلَand madeٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِthe darkness[es]وَٱلنُّورَ ۖand the lightثُمَّThenٱلَّذِينَthose whoكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedبِرَبِّهِمْin their Lordيَعْدِلُونَequate others with Him
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.
