لَمْNotيَكُنِwereٱلَّذِينَthose whoكَفَرُوا۟disbelievedمِنْfromأَهْلِ(the) Peopleٱلْكِتَـٰبِof the Bookوَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَand the polytheistsمُنفَكِّينَto be abandonedحَتَّىٰuntilتَأْتِيَهُمُ(there) comes to themٱلْبَيِّنَةُthe clear evidence
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence -
