Every Word Has a Gender
Arabic places nouns into two groups: masculine and feminine. That is why هِيَ سَيَّارَةٌ literally reads “She is a car.” A common feminine sign is ة. When you stop, it often sounds like h; when you continue, its t sound returns.
هَذَا وَلَدٌ طَيِّبٌThis is a good boy.هَذِهِ بِنْتٌ طَيِّبَةٌThis is a good girl.
